Immunera builds diagnostics that read the immune system like a sensor network, using machine learning to interpret the signals your body records as it fights disease.
Immunera is building diagnostics that treat the immune system like a sensor network. Your immune system is constantly recording what happens in your body. We read those signals with machine learning to help clinicians make more informed treatment decisions for patients with autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, IBD, and MS.
Using gene sequencing and machine learning on massive biological datasets, from classical models to large language models trained on biological sequences, our blood test tracks the way immune cells respond to these diseases to identify the best treatment without the years of trial and error and hospitalizations that patients have to go through today. We’re launching studies with hospitals across the US to train and validate our first test.
Our team of biologists and machine learning scientists has been working on this research area since 2009. We spun this technology out of Stanford and are backed by top investors to bring the test to patients. For more, see our recent paper in Science and coverage by Eric Topol, The New York Times, and STAT News.
